Vanilla - Not so plain after all!

Vanilla Extract is as common as flour in any baker's pantry.  Vanilla flavoring enriches baking, desserts, drinks - you name it, Vanilla makes food delicious.  Have you ever stopped to read the ingredient list in a bottle of  vanilla extract?  Even "pure" vanilla extract bottles in the supermarket are filled with color, sugar, and the always present "flavorings." 

So is real, honest vanilla extract without the added fillers available?  YES!  Baked with Loven makes extracts the old-fashioned way with only pure vanilla goodness.  We start with imported vanilla beans from Madagascar.  In fact, most bottles will have traces of vanilla beans floating in the liquid.  Our secret blend of liquor is mixed with the crushed vanilla beans and aged for at least one year before being bottled for consumption.  The vanilla extract is considered Double Fold 2X   because twice the vanilla beans than necessary are added for a two times stronger flavor.  Chefs can use less extract for the same rich flavor in food.   One whiff of an open bottle and you know something delicious is inside!

For Gluten intolerance, Baked with Loven will have gluten free vanilla available in Summer 2013.  Vanilla sugar is also available and makes a great hostess gift for your foodie friends!

Pie in the sky, well, Pie in the apple.

We have a unique idea for serving dessert - Cinnamon Spiced Apple Pie.  But Wait! The spiced pie is baked in individual apples!  No more messy cutting of pie and servings are beautiful on the plate.  Your guests will gush at the creativity!  Along with one dollop of ice cream or fresh whipped cream, your next dinner party will have an extraordinary ending with this dessert.   They also reheat deliciously for a next day treat for the host!

Chocolate Candy, it's not just for Christmas...

After a bit of a winter hiatus, Baked with Loven is back on the blog train!  Pre-Christmas orders were steady with one overwhelming favorite - Chocolate Peppermint Candy.  Although it is normally associated with the holiday season, the candy can be ordered during the year.  It makes an excellent corporate gift and can be uniquely packaged.  We can tailor special shapes and gifts for your specific needs or that special someone.   Nothing says I love you more than chocolate, nothing, it doesn't matter what anyone tells you.

  

    

 

Edible Acorns!

Chocolate for chipmunks and sugar for squirrels!  Edible Acorns are the perfect snack for a gorgeous autumn afternoon.  Welcome fall into your home by serving Nutella dipped doughnut holes with a salty pretzel center - and don't forget the chocolate sprinkles.  Hooray for changing leaves and crisp, cool air!  Baked with Loven Edible Acorns for everyone!

 

 

Paws-a-tively Purrfect Chocolate!

Century 21 Cupcakes!

Century 21 Elliott Properties http://www.c21elliottboone.com/  served Baked with Loven desserts at their Grand Re-Opening of the Boone, NC office.  Chocolate and Carrot Cupcakes, Mini Key Lime Cheecakes, Double Cocoa Cookies, and Chocolate Dipped Rice Krispie Treats were the order of the day.  The new office space is beautiful and ready to sell fabulous real estate in the high country!  Thanks to Martitia Mortimer for being a gracious host at the lovely reception.
